Dogs’ Home Of Tasmania
Creating a more engaging and cohesive visual identity to support animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.
Project overview
Dogs' Homes of Tasmania is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to caring for lost, abandoned and unwanted dogs, helping them find safe and loving homes.
This project explored how visual communication and a refreshed brand identity could strengthen the organisation's connection with the community, improve the accessibility of information and create a more consistent experience across print and digital platforms.
The design approach
The visual direction centred on creating an identity that felt approachable, recognisable and engaging, while reflecting the organisation's commitment to animal welfare.
A refreshed logo, vibrant colour palette, playful illustrated motifs and consistent typography formed the foundation of the design system.
These elements were applied across a range of communication materials, including a website concept, adoption information pack and foster care brochure.
The outcome
The result was a cohesive collection of visual communication concepts designed to make important information easier to navigate and more engaging for prospective adopters, foster carers and the wider community.
The project demonstrates how thoughtful visual communication can strengthen an organisation's identity, support clearer messaging and encourage meaningful community engagement.
