A Battle With Consumerism
A Battle with Consumerism is a three-part digital illustration series exploring the seductive nature of consumer culture and the environmental consequences of our everyday choices.
Drawing on my own relationship with consumption, the series reflects on how advertising, social media and the constant pursuit of more can shape our behaviours, often without us realising it. Through bold imagery and visual storytelling, the illustrations move from the allure of consumption to the overwhelming reality of accumulated waste.
The project is both a personal reflection and a broader commentary on our throwaway culture, inviting viewers to question their own consumption habits and consider the lasting impact of seemingly small decisions.
